WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM ARGACON?
Presentations will be in a few different formats:
- Game Streaming with Commentary
- Seminar Presentations
- Discussion Panels
- Interviews
- Gameplay Demos
GAME STREAMING WITH COMMENTARY
These types of presentations can be live or pre-recorded, but will consist of an hour or so of gameplay, either video game or tabletop (TTRPG) where participants will play a game and provide feedback as they do so. Preferably, this commentary will revolve around ArchaeoGaming concepts, but there’s a lot of space within this wheelhouse.
Sessions shouldn’t go longer than 2 hours, and no more than 4-6 participants are recommended. Game Masters (GMs) looking to run a game should pre-gen characters for players for ease of play.

SEMINAR PRESENTATIONS
This is the most open presentation type available. Seminars can be live-streamed or pre-recorded. They can be a performance, a presentation, beat poetry, etc. Please remember that we are reaching out to the general public (non-archaeologists) and so topics should be kept open and applicable. Q&A time is preferred, but not required.
Sessions should not run longer than 1.5 to 2 hours. Moderators will be provided.

DISCUSSION PANELS
This type of presentation consists of several individuals discussing a topic. Time must be provided for answering questions from the audience. These can be live or prerecorded. Prerecording will require an audience for Q&A.
Sessions shouldn't go longer than 1.5 hours, and consist of no more than 4-6 panelists. Moderators will be selected to help with monitoring chat and comments, but it would be good for the panel to have a designated front-man.

INTERVIEWS
A simple one-on-one interview. These can be live-streamed or pre-recorded. As always Q&A time is preferred, but not required. An interviewer will be provided upon request.
Interviews should be no more than 2 hours, though most will last no longer than 1 hour. Moderators will be provided for live interviews to ensure that participants are not burdened with keeping up with chat.

DEMOS
