Anna CoonStaff Member
Anna Coon is a public archaeologist located in the Pacific Northwest. She specializes in the analysis of prehistoric sites within the Columbia River Basin. Her expertise lies in the study of lithic technologies, with a focus on use-wear analysis, raw material sourcing, and experimental archaeology – particularly in flintknapping and lithic illustration. Anna makes use of her background in art through experimental archaeology as a way to enhance her understanding of lithic technologies and disseminate her findings to a wider audience.
In addition to her professional experience, Anna also volunteers her time to public outreach efforts, which include serving on the Board of Directors for the Association for Washington Archaeology, co-hosting the Digging to the Other Side Podcast, and working with the ArchaeoGaming Collective. She uses archaeogaming to help audiences visualize the past, promote preservation of heritage sites, and debunk myths regarding archaeology as a scientific discipline. |

Jacob Coffey is an digital anthropologist and archaeologist currently residing in New England. His interests include culture, primatology, digital archaeology, psychology, and gaming. Professionally, Jacob works as an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer specializing in industrial ergonomics and hazardous workplace safety. Jacob is also a co-founder of Testimony, LLC., a digital anthropological and archaeological educational media company. Jacob’s primary goals revolve around using easily accessible and relatable resources to inform and educate individuals.

Rhianna Bennett is a professional archaeologist residing in the southeastern United States. She received her MA in Social Sciences from Georgia Southern University, where she focused on archaeology and public education. Her archaeogaming research interest lies in deconstructing archaeological thought for the general public in order to promote stewardship and passion for the past.
